Building Rules & Regulations

Version 1 · Effective October 8, 2026

These rules apply to everyone at 11 Herbert P. Almgren Drive, Agawam, MA: members, tenants, day-pass holders and their guests. They are part of every lease that includes the Building Rules and Conduct article, and Next Level CoWork may update them on 30 days' notice. Questions: info@nextlevelcowork.com or 413-264-6839.

1. Access, hours & security

Your membership dictates your building access. Staffed hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, closed holidays.

  • Your door access (the app on your phone, or your key) is for you alone. Never share it, lend it or let someone else use it.
  • Don't hold or prop exterior doors open, and don't let anyone you don't know follow you in.
  • After hours, make sure the door closes and latches behind you.
  • Tell us the same day if you lose your phone, key or access. Lost keys are replaced at cost.
  • The parking lot is monitored by video cameras.

2. Kitchen & fridges

Keep your food in the fridge in The Pit. The Lounge fridge is kept clear for whoever has booked the Lounge.

  • Don't leave food in the fridges over the weekend. Take it home or throw it out by Friday at 3:00 PM.
  • Anything left in a fridge over the weekend will be thrown out.
  • Wash, dry and put away your own dishes right after you use them. Nothing left in the sink or on the counter.
  • Wipe up spills in the fridge, the microwave and on the counters.
  • Be mindful of strong-smelling food in shared spaces.
  • Coffee bar: if you finish the pot, start a new one. Tell us when supplies run low.

3. The Lounge & the Launch Pad

Shared rooms are booked through the booking system, and a booking always comes before walk-in use.

  • The Lounge is open to members Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, unless it's booked. When it's booked, give the space to the person who booked it. A group or event needs its own booking.
  • The Launch Pad (conference room) is used by booking only. Your lease may include free hours each month. Check in the portal before you book.
  • When you use a booked room:
    • Start and end on time.
    • Leave the room as you found it.
    • Power off TVs when you leave.
    • Whiteboard wiped.
    • In the Lounge, take your trash out.
    • Chairs and tables back where they were.
  • Cancel bookings you won't use so someone else can have the room.

4. Calls, noise & working in The Pit

Calls are fine at your desk or in your office. Keep the volume down so everyone around you can work.

  • Everyone: use headphones for audio and video, never speakers.
  • Offices with doors: keep your door closed while you're on a call.
  • In The Pit: keep conversations and calls at a quiet volume.
  • Open desks are first come, first served. At the end of each day, clear the desk completely, wipe it down and take your things with you. Items left overnight may be removed.
  • Dedicated desks stay yours, but keep them tidy and within the desk's footprint. Don't store food at your desk.
  • Don't save open desks with your belongings while you're away for more than an hour.
  • Don't move furniture between areas, and don't nail or screw anything into walls, desks or partitions. Removable adhesive hooks and strips (such as 3M Command) are fine.

5. Guests, mail & packages

You're responsible for your guests, and guests stay with you.

  • Meet your guests at the front door and stay with them the whole time they're here.
  • Meet guests in your office, the Launch Pad or the Lounge, not at the open desks in The Pit.
  • A guest who works from the building for the day needs a day pass.
  • You're responsible for your guests' behavior and for any damage they cause.
  • Use the building address for your business only if your membership includes mail service.
  • Pick up mail and packages within 5 business days. Next Level CoWork isn't responsible for lost, stolen or damaged deliveries, and won't accept perishable, hazardous or oversized shipments for you.

6. Printer

Print, scan and email with your own access code, and never share it.

  • Your monthly allowance depends on your lease. Pages beyond it are billed to your card on file.
  • Pick up your printing right away and don't leave documents on the printer.
  • Tell us about jams, low toner or low paper instead of trying to open the machine.

7. Parking & the storage unit

Parking is free, for the time you're in the building, in the marked spaces.

  • Park only in marked spaces. Never block the overhead door, building exits, fire lanes or another car.
  • No overnight or long-term parking unless your lease includes it.
  • No vehicle repairs, fluid changes or washing anywhere on the property.
  • Move your car when asked so the lot can be plowed. Cars left in the way may be towed at the owner's expense.
  • The storage unit has its own rules in the Storage Unit and Parking articles of its lease. Those rules come first; these building rules apply too.

8. Safety & caring for the building

The building is a workplace, not a residence, and some things are never allowed.

  • Never allowed, including but not limited to:
    • sleeping or staying overnight
    • smoking, vaping, open flames or candles anywhere inside
    • illegal drugs
    • weapons
    • hazardous materials
  • Space heaters, extension-cord chains and large appliances need our written OK first.
  • No pets without our written approval first. Service animals are always welcome.
  • Keep hallways, exits and the paths to fire extinguishers and electrical panels clear.
  • Report leaks, spills, broken equipment and anything unsafe to us right away.
  • Don't alter your space: no painting, no new locks, and nothing nailed or screwed into the walls. Removable adhesive hooks and strips (such as 3M Command) are fine. Ask us for anything else you need.

9. Conduct & enforcement

Treat everyone here with respect. A broken rule gets a reminder first, then the remedies in your lease.

  • No harassment, threats or discrimination of any kind, toward members, guests or staff.
  • Don't sell to or solicit other members without their interest, and don't post flyers without our OK.
  • Alcohol is allowed only at booked Lounge events that follow the event rules.
  • Leave shared spaces at least as clean as you found them.
  • Enforcement: the first time, we'll remind you. After that, Next Level CoWork may:
    • charge your card on file for cleaning, removal or repair costs
    • limit your access to shared rooms
    • treat repeated or serious violations as a default under your lease
  • If something isn't working, or another member's behavior is a problem, tell us at info@nextlevelcowork.com or 413-264-6839. We'll handle it.
